Meet Krista

Krista is a mom, wife, and yarn lover. In her spare time, she loves crocheting, organizing, looking at old houses she wishes she could buy and spending all her extra moments with her family, including her husband, three children, and two rescue dogs.

In 2014, she started a crocheting blog out of love for all things yarn, which has since grown to be a successful business with over 7 million readers a year. As of 2018, she also created Making A Space which is a blog about organizing, creating quick DIY’s and cabin life. Most recently in early 2020 she started Old Historic Houses as a place to appreciate historic homes, places and more!
